UPDATE:  This application was heard on Wednesday 27th January.

Nuon have responded to Daventry District Council’s Regulation 19 letter which pointed out numerous deficiencies in the Environmental Statement (ES) and asking for clarification.  Nuon’s Supplementary Environmental Information (SEI) runs to 277 pages, only 25 of which directly answer DDC’s question, the other 252 being appendices giving technical information, much repeated from the original ES.  The SEI can be views on DDC’s planning website.  The Planning Committee is expected to hear the application on 16th December and the current position is explained in Newsletter 5 which has been distributed to all houses in the villages which are most affected by the proposal.  You can see a copy here:

The Planning Committee meets at 6:30 pm at the Lodge Road offices of the District Council in Daventry.  All interested parties are able to attend and we urge you to support us by turning up at this meeting to show the Planning Committee that this application should not be approved.

You can also show Daventry District Council that you object to the application by responding to Nuon’s Regulation 19 reply.  You need to write to the Planning Department and comments need to be received by 1st December.  Since time is short we advise you to email your comments to:
